The Worship Ministry of Calvary Chapel Bend is focused on providing an orderly environment for the body of Christ to participate, individually and corporately in the worship of our Lord (1 Cor. 14:40), while being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Using contemporary instruments and songs consistent with God’s word, our desire is to encourage worship in spirit and in truth (John 4: 23-24). The word in the bible for “worship” is translated “to minister” or “to serve”. “Worship Leaders” are really “Servant Leaders”, motivated by God with a love for Him and for people.
