We're Reopening the Church!

Starting on Sunday, November 8th, 2020, ALL church services and church ministries will resume under CDC and Oregon State recommendations. We are very excited to get things back to normal at Calvary Chapel Bend, and ask that you join us!

We will continue to do our best to meet the recommendations of the CDC and our State Governor by doing the following:

1) Social Distancing of 6 feet between individuals/families
2) Hand Sanitizer Stations throughout the building
3) Mask provisions for those who would like one
4) Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms, handles, hard surfaces, and more

Below are all of the details for our church re-opening:

All Church Services Will Reopen

On Sundays we will return back to 2 services. Our first service will start at 8:30am and our second service will start at 10:30am.

Sunday Morning 1st Service: 8:30am

First service will be for those who are considered to be at-risk. We recommend that if you are over 60 years of age, or you are considered at-risk due to pre-existing conditions, that you attend our 8:30am service. Note: There will be no childcare provided for 1st service.

Sunday Morning 2nd Service: 10:30am:

Second service will be for all others who are not considered at-risk. We recommend that you respectfully not attend our first service, but instead join us for our second service.
Note: There will be no childcare provided for 2nd service at this time (Toddlers class).

Wednesday Evening Service: 7:00pm:

Our Wednesday Evening Services will be open and available to anyone who feels led to attend. Children’s ministries and childcare will not be provided.

Church Service Livestreams

If you are unable to attend or do not yet feel comfortable returning to an in-person service at this time, we will continue to provide livestreams of all of our services at ccbend.com/livestream.

Communion Services

Our communion services take place on the first Sunday of each month. The distribution of the communion elements by the ushers will meet the recommendations of the CDC.

Children’s Ministries are Kicking Off!

In-Person Children’s Ministries:

In-Person Children’s ministry will resume during our 2nd Sunday Morning Service, with a classroom size limit of 10 children. The classes that will kickoff this Sunday are:
1) 3-Pre-K;
2) K-2nd Grade
3) 3rd-5th Grade

At this time, our Toddlers class will not be available until further notice.

Calvary Kids Church Livestream:

We will also continue to livestream Calvary Kids Online at ccbend.com/calvarykids at a new time starting at 10am. Calvary Kids Online will include a kids worship time and memory verses, however online children’s teachings will discontinue. We encourage families staying at home to download the weekly resources and go through the lessons with their children.

The Great Commission Cafe & Bookstore is Re-Opening!

Sunday Morning Breakfast Burritos are Back!

Our church cafe is now open for breakfast burritos, specialty coffee, donuts, book sales and more. Plus, you can now reserve your breakfast burritos and coffee for pickup on Sunday Mornings by going to ccbend.com/cafe. (That way you don’t miss out when they sell out!)

Wednesday Evening Dinners are on hold until further notice.

Weekly Bible Studies:

CM7 Men's Bible Studies

CM7 Men's Bible Studies will resume at 3 different times: 
1) Tuesdays at 6am
2) Tuesdays at 7pm
3) Saturdays at 7:30am

Women's Bible Study

Women's Bible Study will resume on Thursdays at 10am

Sick Policy

If you or your child is sick we ask that you and your children stay home. Children will not be allowed into the classroom if they are showing signs of sickness, including but not limited to runny nose, cough, fever, general appearance of unwell ness. This is for their own safety and the safety of others.

It is our desire here at Calvary Chapel Bend to serve you and your children to the best of our ability in Christ and to assure everyone is safe so we can all grow strong in the Lord together. It has been a challenging time for all of us, but God will enable us both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
